2 weeks to 50k / 3 weeks to Beast

Monday
Did: 2-mi walk
Rest day with a walk at lunch :)

Tuesday
Did: 6.5 mi @ 8:35/mi avg
Track Tuesday but had some issues with a side stitch that just would not go away. Got through 3x 800s then had to go kind of easy the rest of the run. Not super thrilled with that, but hoping it was just a random thing.

Wednesday
Did: 3.35 mi @ 8:07/mi
Ran on the cross-country trails at work today and had some pep in my step! Was really nice to run these trails for the first time since March 16, 2020... wow.

Thursday
Did: 5.66 mi @ 9:24/mi
Altamont, but solo after dropping D off at school. It was a little bit rainy but not bad, and I felt pretty good getting up the mountain! 

Friday
Did: 25 min yoga
Pretty easy peasy session but just needed something low-key and stretchy today.

Saturday
Did: 2.03 mi run/walk
Got this done after dinner, didn't have the opportunity to get out during the day (although did a good bit of yardwork which was kind of like strength training!). Felt nice to get in a couple miles in the dark.

Sunday
Did: 7.29 mi @ 11:14/mi 
One full loop at Pleasant Ridge felt great, not at all strenuous and I could have easily done another lap. Good taper run!


Found a snek enjoying the sun. 😊

Total miles for the week was just shy of 25 miles... much less than previous weeks! But good for tapering, I suppose. Gotta be well-rested for the race next weekend!
