Got Country Mile 48-hr this weekend, and while I'm not planning on going for the hundo this year for Reasons, I still want to give myself a decent shot at doing my best so going to front load activities for the week and have a couple days' rest before the event!
Monday
1,200 yd swim
Found a pool that I can get to and from reasonably quickly during in-office days, and tried it out for the first time today. Went great, and it's just $3 per visit! Did 5x 200yd workout (plus warmup and cooldown) and kept each interval around 4:00-4:20. Tried to get the last one sub-4 and was right on it (not bad!).

Rare Monday office day meant I could make it to New Groove Run Club. Fun crew, got to catch up with some Blue Ridge teammates and some others I hadn't seen in a while!

Busy workday but managed to squeeze in 10k Tuesday at the Trailside Trotters run club before a baseball game. Goal to keep it easy, legs were pretty tired, but managed a decent pace. It was also pretty warm! Best part: new shoes day!
