Recovery Week
Plan is minimal mileage, no structured workouts, just focusing on full system recovery.
Gemini agrees after I told it my Garmin fatigue status: "Taking a full week or two to let your central nervous system reset and HR normalize is 100% the right call. Mild muscle soreness means your tissues are recovering normally, but systemic fatigue is what warrants patient, low-stress downtime right now."
Monday
pup walk
Tuesday
3.12 mi @ 10:02/mi
Splitting the #10kTuesday mileage for the sake of recovery. Slow and steady on the early road miles.
3.18 mi @ 10:1/mi
Ran the 5k course at work for some offroad recovery miles and finishing out the day's 10k.
Wednesday
2.3 mi pup walk
Nice long walk with Ivy in the morning after school drop-off.
1.7 mi pup hike
Opted to stick with just walk/hike during NICA practice tonight.

| Gonna miss these lovely trail evenings! |
Thursday
40 min strength
Mostly upper body at the work gym.
Friday
60 min power vinyasa at Soul Yoga
Been missing yoga and man this was a tough class - so good though! Held crow pose for about 5-6 breaths at the end. I forgot how hot these classes are... whew I was pouring sweat, but man that felt good.
Saturday
8.1 mi @ 9:32/mi
Decided to give some Swamp Rabbit miles a try and ended up feeling pretty good and quite happy with the pace! Started with a loop through Furman then finished with a couple miles towards downtown Greenville. What a beautiful morning!
Sunday
walkies
Just a few walks with Ivy to close out the week.
Week thoughts:
15 miles running total, not bad for a recovery week!
The legs seemed to bounce back from soreness pretty quickly but my body has been generally tired all week. I've still not gotten the HRV back in check yet, but at least my sleep score has steadily improved.
